Role Overview
As a Universal Banker, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service while performing a combination of teller, personal banking, and consumer lending responsibilities. This role involves processing transactions, opening new accounts, assisting with consumer loan applications, and proactively building strong customer relationships. You will also represent the bank through community involvement and business development efforts.

Key Responsibilities

·         Open various types of new accounts, including savings, checking, money market, IRAs, and certificates of deposit.

·         Process teller transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring excellent customer service.

·         Cross-sell additional bank services to enhance customer banking experience.

·         Act as a liaison between the customer and the bank, fostering strong relationships.

·         Prepare follow-up letters and thank you cards for new accounts to maintain customer engagement.

·         Underwrite and originate consumer loans.

·         Assist lenders with consumer real estate loan applications.

·         Assist customers with account problems, including reconcilement and research.

·         Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

·         Strong customer service and communication skills

·         Experience in banking, customer service or sales (preferred)

·         Ability to manage multiple tasks and solve problems effectively

·         Knowledge of bank products and services

Pay

$18-$24/hour
