Visitors to the Sod House near Sanborn are invited to step in time to the 1880s and explore the simple, quiet lifestyle of the prairie.

Sod House on the Prairie is located one mile east of the junctions of Hwy. 71 and 14, along the Laura Ingalls Wilder Historic Highway and is just 18 miles east of Walnut Grove.
