Visionary Award Recipients

Redwood Area Chamber & Tourism would like to acknowledge the 2017 Visionary Award Recipients, presented at the Annual Meeting & Dinner on Saturday, January 28th, 2017. The Visionary Awards are a prestigious honor. These awards are intended to recognize successful business and community leaders, as well as non-profits, who give their time, their talents, and their resource to our community in such a way that the entire community benefits. Congratulations to the following 2017 Visionary Award Recipients.

Claire Meyers – Rising Star Award
This award was developed to honor a Chamber Member who has been a part of our business community a relatively short amount of time, but through their vision, has had a successful start and has made a great impact in their field and business. They’ve also given of their time, talent, and resources in services to the community, for the benefit of the community, as a whole.

Valerie Stephens – Shining Star Award
This award is given to a Chamber Member or Members who have been in business six years or more and through their vision, are experiencing success in their career and have given of their time, talent, and resources in service to the community, for the benefit of the community, as a whole.

Grant & Dawn Breitkreutz – Star Ag Award
This award is intended to honor and recognize an area Agriculture Producer, or individual, working in an Ag-related field, who through their vision, has given their time, talents, and resources to the community for the benefit of the community as a whole.

Chad Johnson – Hidden Gem Award
The Hidden Gem award is intended to honor any individual, Chamber Member or non-Chamber Member, who through their vision, has given of their time, talents, and resources to the community for the benefit of the community as a whole.

Friends of the Park – Greater Good Award
This award is intended to honor a group and/or non-profit organization, Chamber Member or non-Chamber Member, who through their vision, has given of their time, talents, and resources to the community for the benefit of the community as a whole.
