Redwood Area Chamber & Tourism, a non-profit business advocacy and tourism entity, is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant, 40 hours per week. This individual must thrive working in a collaborative environment with volunteers, local businesses, and the public. Duties include administrative, clerical and communication support, database maintenance, light accounting work, assisting with the scheduling and preparation of events and programs, updating communications and marketing materials, and other tasks as necessary. 2018 AFA Scholarship Applications are now available!

The Redwood Area Chamber & Tourism Agriculture Committee is once again offering a $4,200.00 scholarship to be awarded for the 2017/2018 school year to a student planning to pursue a bachelor’s degree in the field of agriculture and/or related fields.  Applicants must live in or be attending school in a school district within Redwood County.   The $4,200 scholarship is comprised of a $3,200 academic scholarship and a $1,000 AFA Leaders Conference fee.  The selected recipient is required to attend this phenomenal leadership conference held in Kansas City, Missouri this fall.  The scholarship is distributed at a maximum of $1,600 per semester.  Any remaining balance of scholarship … [Read More...]
